• The church office is now located in the PowerHouse - stop by and say "hi" and check out the church library.  There might be a book, movie or CD that you've been looking for!

• PADS Month of Undies starts January 1!  All month long, please drop off new underwear, socks, and other clothing into the bin located in the lobby.  Please contact Jean Hackbert (847.548.4261) or Angie List-Sheets (847.548.5918) if you have any questions. 

• PADS is looking for food donations for January! Check the kiosk in the lobby for items needed this month and thank you for your generous support of this ministry. 

• January 8  -  Worship at 9 and 10:30 am followed by move out of the building workday!!  Children in KAK today will receive their passports for the kick-off of Interstate 4 One Another!!  This is a fun project for children to do with their families all week and then check in at the Rest Stop on Sunday mornings to get passports stamped!

• 40 Days Better Together series begins Jan 8th!
  In order to get the most out of our series and time at the theatre together we are asking everyone in our church to participate in the following ways:
  1. Attend church service every week at 9:45am. Commit to attending all seven weekends during the campaign.
  2. Commit to praying the 4-4-40 prayer. 4pm- 4 prayer requests- 40 days. (you will receive magnet with requests)
  3. Read the 40 daily devotionals throughout the six weeks of the campaign. There is power in unity and us all having the same focus! If you ordered a book pick up this Sunday from Jenelle Ancona. Cost 8.00.
  4. Use the memory verse key tags. Each of the six weeks includes one verse that we will memorize together as a church. You will receive one every Sunday.
  5. Donate a winter coat to help men who are rehabilitated and looking for a new start in our community. Participate within your group or individually by bringing slightly used coats to the theater.

• January 15  -  Worship at Marcus Cinema with fellowship at 9:30 and worship at 9:45am! Youth groups will start meeting at Lakeland Church today!  Same days and times, just up the street at Lakeland.  Check out Colin's student ministries website at www.joystudentmin.com for the latest information; calendars and downloadable forms!
