Overview: In today's "online all the time world," more than ever technology is essential for creating meaningful worship experiences and extending Joy!’s reach beyond the walls of our church. Livestreaming allows those who cannot be physically present to feel connected, whether they are traveling, homebound, or exploring faith for the first time. High-quality sound ensures that every word spoken and every note sung is clear, helping the congregation fully engage in worship. Lighting plays a vital role in setting the mood and tone, much like candles did in ancient church settings, fostering an environment that is worshipful and inspiring. By embracing technology, we honor both tradition and innovation, ensuring Joy! continues to be a welcoming, accessible, and spiritually enriching community for all.
2024 was a significant year for Joy! Tech as we focused on enhancing our technology infrastructure to better support our worship experience and livestream capabilities. Below is a month-by-month breakdown of the updates made throughout the year.
January 2024
Updated camera interface: Implemented new equipment and workflow for our existing camera system, improving operational efficiency.

Added 4th camera in worship space: This addition increased flexibility for livestream production and enabled dynamic views during services.

Updated audio interface for livestream: Enhanced the reliability of our audio setup, ensuring consistent and high-quality sound for remote viewers.

Dinner With Jesus: Provided technical support for this special event, including sound, lighting, and multimedia setup to create a meaningful atmosphere.
February – March 2024
Follow in the Footsteps (Lent/Easter): Managed all technical aspects of the Lent and Easter season. This included creating immersive environments for worship and seamless livestreams for the wider community.
April 2024
Beyond Perception: Delivered innovative visual and audio setups to enhance the themes of this series, focusing on broadening perspectives.
May 2024
Guiltless: Supported the exploration of forgiveness and grace through thoughtful soundscapes and projection elements.

Vacation Bible School (VBS): Assisted with one of the most energetic events of the year by providing technical expertise for engaging programs, multimedia presentations, and dynamic activities.
