Throughout this past year of challenges, God has remained faithful. He has not only continued to give our Youth Ministries the space/time for students to connect with each other & grow deeper in their faith, but God has also allowed us to make changes, try new ideas & seek new opportunities, to help meet students & families right where they’re at in this season. I’m confident that Christ will continue to be the Cornerstone of our Youth Ministries, while he continues to meet each of us at the Crossroads of our faith journeys.
- New students attended & are now regularly involved in our Crossroads (jr high) & Cornerstone (high school) programs
- Nick & a few students attended the “Ignite” Youth Leadership Conference in Oswego, IL, for students to grow in leadership & ownership of their own youth ministry
- Groups will now regularly meet both onsite at Joy! & offsite at places such as restaurants, theme parks, & leaders’ houses
- Plans are being made to renovate the Youth Zone space at Joy! for this upcoming Fall
