Kids Klub (aka Sunday School)
Children 3 years old thru 5th Grade
Offered on Sunday Mornings at 10:30 beginning September 15th through May.
Children begin in worship with their parents. After the children's message children will meet their teachers in the lobby and go to the classroom.
We are so excited to be a part of your child’s faith journey at Joy! All kids are welcomed with open arms and hearts. We think that learning about God is the greatest adventure that your child will embark upon! Thus, we feel privileged to come beside parents and guardians to make spiritual learning fun and provide helpful ways to continue learning at home.
What does my child experience?
On any given Sunday, your child will be greeted by one of the classroom “Guides.” The Guides are volunteers who will be with the students all year long. The activities we use on a regular basis are Bible Story Video with various activities. We will be using Orange Curriculum for our Nursery and Preschool through Kindergarten class. Our 1st-5th grade curriculum is Sunday School Planet. Both programs have the energy level of Vacation Bible School for year-round fun for our students and volunteers! It helps make the Word of God relevant, attractive and memorable to our children. The curriculum is inviting, practical, flexible, kid-pleasing, teacher-friendly, and aimed at producing Bible literacy. It uses many activities in weekly lessons so that each student, whether he/she learns best by listening or watching, creating or playing, will learn God’s Word in a fun and meaningful way to help children reflect God in everyday life.
