MEN IN MOTION 2025 - Building Bunk Beds Event

Please consider donating to this ministry. It costs approximately $200 in lumber and materials to assemble one bunk bed. Your donations will sponsor the costs of materials to keep this ministry thriving.
Pre-Build Dates - Tuesday, Sept 16th, Tuesday, Sept 23rd, & Thursday, Sept 25th 2025, Open 6 pm to 9 pm (Food Provided - Need 8 to 10 Men over 17). Three weekday evenings for pre-build work in the Joy! barn will include cutting, sanding, router and drilling of 2x4’s and plywood in preparation for the assembly and staining on the day of the main event. Build Event - Sat. Sept 27th, 2025, 9 am to 1 pm (Men & supervised boys) A day in the Joy! barn of fellowship and final assembly, stain and completion of the bunk beds built for this year. Come for as much time as you wish. Most years we are done by noon! Lunch provided. Delivery - Saturday, October 11th, 2025, 9 am to Noon (Men, Women, High School Age and above) half day of bringing smiles to the faces of local children as you deliver bunk beds, help assemble them (all instructions and materials are provided), and present the kids with brand new bedding. Everyone can help by building, delivering bunk beds, or donating! |
