MEN IN MOTION - Building Bunk Beds Event

This is a yearly event in the fall.
  • Pre-Build - Tuesday Oct. 8th  & Thursday 10th 2019, Open 6pm to 9pm (Food Provided - Need 8 to 10 Men over 17) Two week day evenings for pre-build work in the Joy! barn will include cutting, sanding, router and drilling of 2x4’s and plywood in preparation for the assembly and staining on the day of the main event. 
  • Build Event - Sat. Oct. 12th 2019, Open 9 am to 4 pm (Men and supervised boys) A day in the Joy! barn of food and fellowship and final assembly, stain and completion of the 16 bunk beds built for this year.
  • Delivery - Sat. Oct. 26th 2019, 9am to 3pm (Families) Morning and early afternoon truck delivery and assembly, in homes of in-need families identified by Love Inc. including mattresses, bedding and stuffed animals.
  • You can sign up for any or all of the service dates.  Registration for one or all of the opportunities to serve Men in Motion (see link below).   
  • Everyone can help by building, or delivering bunk beds, or donating. 
  • Please consider donating to this ministry when you register.  Whether you attend or not - It costs approximately $200 in lumber and materials to assemble one bunk bed.  Your donations will defray costs of materials for next year to keep this ministry thriving.
