For the first time ever, Joy! VBS will be collecting donations towards TWO missions!
We will be supporting Avon Township Food pantry, who supplies food to both families and individuals in the Grayslake, Hainesville, Round Lake, and Third Lake Communities, by donating much needed food and paper goods.
Items can be dropped off during the week (Monday through Thursday from 9 am until 3 pm), on Sunday mornings, or during the week of VBS! |
We will be supporting Reach Rescue, INC a volunteer-run, foster-based rescue organization based in Mundelein IL that rescues dogs and matches them with foster families until they are placed in their forever homes.
Reach Rescue relies on donations of supplies for the dogs they resuce, as well as monetary donations. We will have a stocked store at Missions Central during VBS that our campers will be able to "shop" at with the money brought in by their group. Donations can also be made by visiting the Reach Rescue Amazon wishlist or making a monetary donation during the week of VBS. |
