Job Opportunity - Director of Youth Ministries

​.Do you have an active faith, centered in Jesus Christ and want a position where you:

•  Are a full-time Director of Youth Ministries, where you have full responsibility for the Junior High and High School youth in a growing congregation?
• Have the chance to spread God’s grace to all of our children, no matter if they’re members of our congregation, respecting them for however God made them?
• ​​Provide a ministry where all youth feel accepted, cherished, and safe, regardless of sexual orientation, gender, race, and physical or mental abilities?
• Have a strong group of volunteer leaders available to rely on?
• Have a supportive staff that provides the resources needed to have a successful Youth Ministry?
• AND, are encouraged to have fun with the volunteer leaders and children under your stewardship?

Joy! Lutheran Church, an ELCA church in Gurnee, IL is searching for a full-time Director of Youth Ministries, to fill a role that has become available because our present Youth Director has accepted a Senior Pastor position at another local church. The ideal candidate will be leading an established ministry and community of 60+ youth.
